Various EboSuite issues since latest update

I’ve had a few significant issues since installing the update

  1. The presets for sampler, simpler, etc are no longer linked to the sampler/simpler device file locations in the EboSuite folder so they don’t load properly and need to be manually relinked and resaved. This is an easy fix - I think it’s just an oversight.

  2. eConvert and “Convert to Hap” option in eSampler are not working for me at all now. The progress bar in eConvert just stays stuck at zero when I drag a video file in to it.

  3. I worked on a project today using multiple eSamplers and it was all playing back fine. I reopened the Ableton Set later in the evening and the EboSuite window just has a permanent spinning disk as if stuck loading and shows “application not responding”

I can confirm there is a issue with eConvert, and while we are working on the fix you could use AV Batch Converter, you can find it here:

About nr. 3: That is very unusual. Is it still in that weird state?
I can imagine it could get stuck on startup if it can’t access a folder that was previously available or it could also be due to the internet connection in case it tried to check for updates or license validation…

Regarding Nr. 3, It is just that one Ableton Set that causes EboSuite to get stuck on startup. If I start a new set and load EboSuite devices the EboSuite app/window opens normally. The project contained an instrument rack with multiple eSamplers, each filtered to be triggered by a different MIDI note. Not sure what the issue was.
