Unable to install EboSuite 2

I just purchased EboSuite 2 and I am unable to install it. After accepting the EULA I get this error message: “User Library is currently not available” and the installer gets stuck. I’ve checked in Ableton, the User Library is where it should be and is the same path it shows in the EboSuite Installer.

I am running Ableton Live Suite 11.1.6
on a MacBook Air M1 2020 running MacOS 11.5.1

Can anyone help, what am I overlooking? It feels like there’s a simple solution…

cheers, r

In the screenshot the path is missing a forward slash between Ableton and User Library… could that be the problem or do you have such a directory under Music?

Yes, I realised this too but I can’t find a way to change the directory in the installer – the path is not missing the slash in Ableton

Hi Rasmes,
That is interesting. I received your email about this issue and will reply there too. It shouldn’t be too difficult to fix.

In the meantime you can do a manual installation. It is very easy.
Download the manual installation files here:
https://www.ebosuite.com/install/EboSuite_manual_install.zip

Put the EboSuite folder with the eLiveSetTool in your Applications folder.
Put the EboSuite folder with the plug-ins in Ableton’s User Library.
Put the EboSuite folder with the ISF shaders in the Users/Shared folder.
Install the fonts.

Please let me know if you need more help with this.
