Hi, I’m not able to install the demo. I’m on OSX 10.11.3, Ableton Live 9.7.1 & Max 7.3.5. I get a messege saying “This package will run a program to decide if the the software can installed” and when I select continue both the installer and Live quits unexpectedly.
Any ideas?

It is normal behaviour that the installer quits Live at the beginning of the installation process and then shows the “This package will run a program to determine if the software can be installed.” screen. After selecting ‘Continue’ you should see the screen below. Where is your Ableton User LIbrary located and is it selected in Live’s preferences?

Both Live and the Installer quits when trying to install. First I see this!:
And then when I click ‘continue’ I get this:
I don’t get further than that.
My Ableton user library is in the standard location. Users/oscart/Music/Ableton/User Library
