I have only used EboSuite once previously in a live setting where we played live in sync with music videos. The click track had a count in that says “One,two,three,four”. This was done using the drum rack and just having the four notes played in time with the click.
This new project the videos have intros before the music begins playing. What I need to do is have the video start playing, then at a certain point in the video, start the click countin, etc. The videos have different opening segments, so I need to sync the click to different time stamps in each video.
I can figure out how to place the countin, but how can I adjust the video so that when the appropriate part of the video is reached, our click and countin are in sync with the video. I can add graphics, etc, to lengthen them, but what is an easy way to look at the videos and say here is where is is in sync with the tempo of the music.
So, for example, Video A for song A (138 BPM) has a 45 second intro. Video B for song B (155 BPM) has a 38 second intro. How would I modify the track to have the click in sync with where we need to start?
