Hi All. Right now I’m recording audio in Ableton’s Arrangement view and using Syphon to capture video. My only problem with this is that I have to meticulously match up audio with video in Final Cut Pro after the fact. I do prefer to record multiple audio tracks in Ableton so piping the master track out to Syphon isn’t an option. Is there a clear cut way to begin recording in both platforms simultaneously?
For syncing you could put a flash and a beep together at the same moment on the front end Kind of like a slate clapper or “two pop”. That would help you in FCP.
