Floating Sensei Window?

Just starting to explore Sensei trial version. Amazing. Will definitely purchase!

One quick question. Is there a way to keep the Sensei video window on top when working in Ableton Live? If so I can’t find it. Not a problem when using an external monitor but when working on just the laptop it would be really helpful to keep a small floating Sensei window on top.

I couldn’t find an “Always on Top” option either. It would be great to have the option

Also, is the Sensei app running in a lower resolution by default? The window title looks a bit blurry on my side. Is there a way to enable the normal (full) resolution for the Sensei app?

In the tutorial videos, the video window seems to be fixed on top of Live, but i couldn’t find a way to do it either

I asked in the comments on YouTube and apparently they manually added the Sensei video on top later for the tutorial. However, I found this free Window Pin app that lets you pin the Sensei window on top and it works great: ‎WindowPin - Window Top App - App Store

Window Pin is only for Mac and i’m on Windows. Anyway, i got the idea and found something similar (“Always On Top” from “Power Toys”) and it works.

Thanks for the hint!

Hi, the next update will add controls for the output window, so you can make it stay always on top.

By default the SenSei app runs uses medium render quality mode (the default quality mode of Unreal Engine). You can choose another render quality mode in the ‘SenSei Control + Main Camera’ plug-in.

The medium render quality mode is adaptive, which means that the quality changes depending on the output window size. The bigger the window, the better the quality. Full screen looks best (that is noticeable with the depth of field, for example, when the window is small, DOF is turned off even).
