EboSuite 2.4 and SenSei 2.1 (release date 2026-02-18)

This update brings the following new additions/fixes to EboSuite:

    • Mesh Glitcher 01 - distroy imported meshes
    • Mesh Loader Plus - stream video on imported meshes, edit the material, enable collision and distance field, use 3D distortion effects
    • Mesh Swarm - use imported meshes in a particle system

  • New feature: 3 new dynamic surface plug-ins

    • Dynamic Surface 04
    • Dynamic Surface 05

  • New feature: 2 new refraction plug-ins (use in High render mode)

    • Video Storm 03 - turn video into a particle system
    • Break Canvas - collide other objects with the video canvas and make it splinter away
    • Clowd - turn video into a particle system

  • New feature: Video Overlay plug-in, to stream Syphon/Spout video fullscreen on top of the SenSei scene (kind of video pass-through to crossfade between SenSei and a Syphon/Spout source)

  • New feature: Improved emmissive in Vertex Shapers

  • Fix: Crash using Color Picker

It seems like the button to reverse on esampler is there when it’s dropped on a track but disappears once a video has been loaded into it? Am I possibly missing something?

It seems to work fine here. Are you using EboSuite on Windows or Mac?

I’m on a Mac, I can send you a video or something if you’d like. I just tried again to make sure I’m not imagining anything and it’s happening consistently for me.

Actually it’s happening with .mov files, once I converted to Hap it works as expected. Sorry, just now realized that.

Ah, you were using an .mp4 ? H264 is not reliable with live video, so we disabled it for that codec. It should work well with Hap and ProRes.

I’m still getting an Ableton crash with the color picker. Noticed it happens on the ChromaKey device as well as the Sensei Control + Main Camera device.

This is on Mac. I’m currently on Sequoia 15.7.4 and with the latest Ableton Live beta 12.4b8.

Could you send us an email at contact@ebosuite.com? The installer works only for both apps, but I can send you the manually install files for EboSuite 2.4. That will be around 150 mb.
