eArrangement causing lagging and freezing

Hey!

Loving EboSuite so far, but I’ve been having issues with eArrangement (I think) and Ableton 12. I’m on a MacBook M1 Pro btw.

If I have a couple of audio tracks with HAP videos and the eArrangement plug-in in them (converted using AVF Batch Converter), after a while Ableton starts seriously laggy and starts freezing while CPU is still around 28%. It becomes completely unbearable after a while, but if I delete the eArrangement plug-ins, everything is fine again, so it must be the plug-in. I started with the eSimpler plug-ins which did not seem to cause this issue, but I want more audio clip control in Arrangement view.

Is there a solution to this? Would be amazing!

I use session view on M1 Mac and originally had similar problems. I found FFmpeg and got ChatGPT to give me some terminal commands to convert all my videos to ProRes 422 720p or 4444 if transparent. No problems at all now. When I had any mix of file types/codecs/etc I had performance and freezing problems. Good luck
