I think it may have to do with it directed to my NTFS hdd where I have the rest of my Ableton project files etc. stored, like some mounting/unmounting going wrong during the install aking it non responding and having to right click and close the installer…

Why you use Ntfs on a Mac?

Thanks for the report and the log.

I think NTFS shouldn’t be a problem in-itself, but very often NTFS volumes are mounted read-only on mac os.
Let’s try to figure out what’s going on!

  1. Could you please let us know if the volume is writable - ie you can create folders/files in the user library folder?
  2. If installer gets to the point where it shows the installation folder, could you send us a screenshot or write here the path it displays?
