Hey guys I have a set in a few hours and wanted to ask this question to see if you might catch it before I got on:
I built my set and saved it. Then came back to work on it and was getting a black screen. After troubleshooting, I decided to just reinstall Ebosuite. Demo set worked fine, old set got a black screen. I rebuilt the set, and that set was fine until I saved it and then came back to find a black screen again. I have reinstalled and am building the set again. So: reopen a saved set = black screen. Reinstall after leads to old set not working but newly built set working fine. I am on an M3 Pro and all files save for 3 are pro res.

Update. Rebuilt the set just before the gig and it went fine but would still like to resolve this.

I had a similar problem with it just freezing overall. Like I could work on the project for hours no problems, but then when I saved and reopened, the Ableton Live audio all worked fine, ebosuite window, frozen. My fix was; used FFmpeg to covert all my video files to the same 1280x720, 16:9, ProRes 422 or 4444. Even ones already in that format. Previously they were the “mostly” the same, but as I learned through this process, a lot of software uses FFmpeg, or emulators to do the dirty work, and not all are created equal, so you might as well run anything through it to make sure it’s standard. After this, worked fine. I probably recreated that project 10+ times, this was the only thing that fixed the issue.
